This week’s featured cards are Stampin’ Up’s Online Exclusive Brushed With Beauty suite. The suite features two stamp sets and coordinating dies, Brushed With Beauty DSP, 12 x 12 package of vellum, Beautiful Patterned Embossing Folder and the Pearls of Beauty complete the suite. The card I demonstrated on my Sunday video is the Angled Z Fold design. The card base is Early Espresso 5 1/2 x 11 and scored at 3” and 6 3/4”. On the 5 1/2 side place a pencil mark at 2 3/4”. Cut from the 2 3/4” mark just to 3” score line. Fold this flap back and place the card base in the trimmer track with the 6 3/4” score line and 2 3/4” mark at an angle and cut the angle off. You now have an Angle Z fold card. Next cut one panel of Very Vanilla cardstock at 3 1/2” x 5 1/4 and a panel of the DSP at 3 1/2” x 5 1/4”. Place a pencil mark on the left side of the cardstock on the 5 1/4” side at 2 1/2” then place a pencil mark on the right side of the DSP on the 5 1/4” side at 2 1/2” mark. Using the trimmer place the left top corner of the DSP in the track and the lower 2 1/2” mark in the track. Cut the angle off. Next place the cardstock panel in the trimmer placing the top right point in the track and 2 1/2” mark in the bottom of the track and cut the angle off. Next cut a panel of DSP for the small front fold 2 1/2” x 2 3/4”. Cut a panel of DSP 4” x 5 1/4”. Adhere all the panels to the Early Espresso card base. Using a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock stamp the detailed large flower in Calypso Coral, then take the flat flower stamp and stamp off the Calypso Coral and fill in the detailed flower. Repeat the same process with the smaller flower. Cut the two flowers with the dies. Cut the detailed leaves in the Vellum. From the Words of Beauty dies cut the word because frame die in Early Espresso and cut the word because die in Very Vanilla and glue them together. Arrange the word because at the bottom of the small front fold. Adhere the Vellum leaves at an angle then adhere the two flowers with dimensions. Add the Pearls of Beauty to the center of the flowers to complete the design. If you would like to watch my Sunday video go to my Facebook page to watch the replay.
