Stamp With Kathryn’s Kreations

This week’s cards are Stampin’ Up’s Waterside Retreat Suite which will be available on May 5th. This suite can create male or female birthday cards as well as Father’s Day cards. The DSP is used in all three cards either as a focal scene or fussy cutting the images. The card bases are all 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. The card base colors are the new InColor Peaceful Pine for two cards and Pool Party for the third card. One card uses the Branching Out dies to focus the scene in Peaceful Pine and the second card cuts two Branching Out dies in Pecan Pie and Peaceful Pine. The vests and oars are fussy cutting from the DSP and adhered with dimensions. The scene in the third card is layered on Pretty Peacock cardstock which is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. In this third card the Adirondack chair is stamped in Momento and colored with the SB Light Pecan Pie. The sea grass is stamped in Old Olive and the pussy willows are colored with SB Light Old Olive and Dark Pecan Pie. The cup is stamped in Momento and colored in Dark Pool Party. The seagull is stamped in Smoky Slate. Baker’s Twine ties the Anchor Trinkets which are also part of the suite. The sentiments are from the stamp set.
