This week’s featured cards are Stampin’ Up’s Online Exclusive Far Away Landscapes. This is only a stamp set with three different landscape sketches. To create the focal point of the landscapes I used the Branching Out dies #3 and #4 for the card on the left. For the card on the right I used the Nested Essentials dies #1 and #2. The card bases are Mossy Meadow and Pool Party cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. The Beautiful Gallery DSP (retired) is the background panel. The cards are showing two different coloring techniques. Both are stamped in Momento black on Basic White cardstock. The card on the left is colored with Stampin Blends in Light Golden Glow, Light Mossy Meadow, Light Granny Apple Green, Light Pecan Pie, Light Balmy Blue, Light Real Red and Light Smoky Slate. After coloring I used a blending brush in Balmy Blue and Old Olive ink to eliminate the white. The card on the right is colored with Stampin’ Up’s Watercolor Pencils in Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Blue, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia and Basic Grey. The entire Basic White cardstock is colored with the pencils. After I used Blender Pens to blend the individual colors. The sentiment is from the Right Words stamps set. Watch my Facebook Sunday video to see how the coloring techniques work.
