Stamp With Kathryn’s Kreations

This week’s featured cards are Stampin’ Up’s Elegant Leaves Bundle which will be available on September 1st in the new September/December Catalogue. This stamp set is a two-step stamps with three different leaves. The bundle includes open dies to cut out the leaves or detailed dies for layering. The three cards I demonstrated on my Sunday video all have a Very Vanilla card bases. Two cards are 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. The card in the middle is 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. The background paper in all three cards is the Autumn Woodland Glimmer Specialty Paper in Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Old Olive. The glimmer paper measures 4 x 5 1/4 on each card. I cut the detailed leaf out of the center of the glimmer paper. The second background layer is the Glow Of Harvest Specialty DSP, which is the Product of the Month or the Autumn Opulence DSP, which will be available online September 1st. Each of the DSP measures 3 3/4 x 5 and is adhered to the glimmer paper. The leaves are stamped in Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze, Golden Glow, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. When adding the filler stamp in the leaves I used a dauber on the flat stamp in the coordinating color. I layered the detailed glimmer leaf and adhered it with glue to the solid stamped leaf. The sentiments are from the stamp sets Elegant Leaves, Go To Greetings (retired) or the new Thanks & Giving stamp set. Watch my Sunday video to see how all three cards came together.
