Coloring Techniques With Etched Autumn & Sunflower EF

Today’s Sunday video featured coloring techniques. In the Etched Autumn cling stamp I colored the entire stamp with Crushed Curry. Then using daubers I randomly colored the stamp in Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Old Olive. I placed a 6 x 6 Basic White cardstock on top of the cling stamp and a beautiful pattern of leaves emerges. I used the Branching Out dies to frame the pattern. The card base is Cajun Craze 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. A panel of Early Espresso cardstock 4 x 5 1/4 is embossed with the Leaves EF. The sentiment is from Amber Autumn and the label is from the Traditional Labels in both cards. The second coloring technique is with watercolor pencils and Sunflower EF. I embossed Petal Pink Two Tone cardstock and on the debossed side I lightly covered the cardstock with Early Espresso ink. Using the pencils I colored the petals partially with Calypso Coral, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler. The leaves are colored with Granny Apple Green and Garden Green and the centers are colored with Daffodil Delight and Pecan Pie. Then using a Blender Pen blend the colors towards the tip of the petals, fill in the leaves and blend the center colors. The frame is the Gallery Bloom dies which frames the sunflower. The card base is Petal Pink cardstock 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. One panel of Early Espresso cardstock is embossed with Sunflower EF. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold.

About Me

I have been a demonstrator since 2019. I believe that sending a handmade card is like “Sending a Little Gift.” I enjoy crafting a card with only Stampin’ Up products. The company’s products are beautifully designed and all of the supplies are coordinated by colors. The creativity of the cards or projects are created by me, Kathryn’s Kreations.
