Today’s featured cards are Stampin’ Up’s Online Exclusive Elegant Pine Snowflakes Suite. The cards are all top fold cards 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. All the card fronts have a layer of Cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and a DSP or Silent Snowflake layer 4 x 5 1/4. The first and fourth cards have pine wreaths created by stamping the snowflakes on cardstock in Shaded Spruce or Old Olive. The pine bough dies are cut from Shaded Spruce or Old Olive cardstock. The pine cones dies are cut from Crumb Cake and Early Espresso cardstock. The center star pine is cut in Gold Foil. The ribbon that wraps around the DSP is Shiny Real Red from the Traditions of Christmas suite and the Shaded Spruce and Gold Trim ribbon is from the Elegant Pine suite. The Faceted Snowflake gems complete the design. The layers are adhered with glue dots and dimensions. The center two cards create the snowflake wreaths. The front cardstock layer is an Online Exclusive called Silent Snowflake. In the second card I used a Blending Brush in Night of Navy to color the white embossed paper. The large and medium snowflake are stamped in Versamark on Night of Navy cardstock and heat embossed in white embossing powder. All the pine bough dies are cut in Silver foil and adhered with glue dots. The Third card is created with Basic White cardstock and the Silent Snowflake is left white. The snowflake wreath is stamped Versamark on Basic White and heat embossed with Silver Embossing powder. All the pine bough dies are cut in Silver Foil. On both cards is the Sheer White and Silver trim ribbon. Please feel free to watch my Sunday Video on Facebook to see how I put the cards together. I also showed some other color combinations using this suite.
