Boardwalk Fun & Beach Boardwalk DSP

This week’s featured Stampin’ Up’s Boardwalk Fun bundle and Beach Boardwalk DSP. The card on the left is a Boardwalk scene with a spinning Ferris Wheel. The card base is Pool Party 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. To create the scene start with a wood grain DSP 1/2 x 5 1/4, Grey Granite cardstock 1 x 5 1/4 and score across every 1/2” to create a sidewalk. Two panels 1” x 5 1/4 in Basic Beige and Basic White layer together and tear the edges toward you to create sand and waves crashing the shoreline. The next panel is the water pattern in the DSP 1” x 5 1/4. Adhere each strip at the bottom together. Then adhere all the panels to the bottom of the background pattern of DSP which is 4 x 5 1/4. Set aside while you create the Ferris Wheel. Cut three Ferris Wheels in Basic Black, Basic White and Silver Foil. Adhere the White Ferris Wheel to the front of the DSP scene. Cut the bottom triangle off of the black Ferris Wheel and adhere it to the white triangle on the DSP. Next cut the die with the bucket twice in Basic White to get a total of 12 buckets. The buckets were colored with Subtle Stampin’ Blends in Light and Dark. Adhere the buckets to the silver foil Ferris Wheel. Cut the silver foil bottom stand off so you have the wheel only. With your Take Your Pick tool cut a center hole in the silver Ferris Wheel. Then repeat another center hole through the white Ferris Wheel and the DSP. Using a round head white brad place through both wheels but do not press down securely. Leave it loose so the wheel will spin. Adhere the DSP panel with dimensions to a panel of cardstock 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Cut a ticket for the birthday sentiment and cut two palm trees in Basic White and color with Stampin Blends in Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie. Adhere the ticket with dimensions and glue down the trees. The Easel card is less detailed. The card base is Coastal Cabana 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4. Cut a panel of DSP background 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Use Versamark on the Rollercoaster and stamp it on the DSP. Heat emboss the rollercoaster in Black embossing powder. Cut the car die in silver foil and adhere it to the black cars. Cut two ticket dies in Fresh Freesia and Pool Party cardstock and adhere with dimensions to the DSP. Adhere the DSP to a panel of cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 for stability. Adhere the bottom panel with adhesive to the easel. The inside panel is decorated with palm trees and the ticket is popped up with 4 dimensions so the easel can stand. Decorate with embellishments.

About Me

I have been a demonstrator since 2019. I believe that sending a handmade card is like “Sending a Little Gift.” I enjoy crafting a card with only Stampin’ Up products. The company’s products are beautifully designed and all of the supplies are coordinated by colors. The creativity of the cards or projects are created by me, Kathryn’s Kreations.
